Yarmouth Public Archives


The Charity Commission Scheme dated 16th June 1931, clause 26 states:

"Custody of the Chattels, etc. - The Trustees shall cause the said chattels and documents to be deposited in the Town Hall, or in some other place, or places, in Yarmouth open free of charge to the inhabitants, if due provision is made for their safety and proper exhibition, or otherwise in some place to be approved by the Charity Commissioners; and the Trustees shall take care that any reasonable application to copy the documents shall be allowed."
